FAQs about hotels in Singapore

Asia in a Compact Package

Clean, compact and compelling, Singapore seamlessly combines the best of Asia. Different cultures and cuisines live side by side, whilst maintaining their own identity.

Behind the bright lights of Chinatown is great value dim sum, while Little India is a sensation for the senses. Wander past the pastel-painted facades of Malay-dominated Geylang Seari for a taste of days gone by, then stop off at the Colonial-style Raffles Hotel, birthplace of the Singapore Sling cocktail.

For a retreat from the hustle and bustle, take the cable car to the sandy beaches of Sentosa, an island just south of the city centre. Also here is Universal Studios Singapore, a theme park brimming with the magic of the movies.

As you’d expect from the host of the world’s only Formula 1 night race, once night falls, Singapore is still very much alive. Its Night Safari is a zoo offering the rare chance to see nocturnal animals going about their business.

Although small enough to see on foot, Singapore has an efficient public transport system which extends as far as Singapore Changi Airport. With a choice of Singapore accommodation ranging from budget hostels to luxury hotels, Booking.com is bound to have the right choice for your holiday.

Singapore is a must visit once in your lifetime esp with family. It is clean, structured, fun. Too many attractions within a small area.. easy to travel across. Importantly it is one of the safest cities. Great place for seafood lovers. With all this comes few cons : it is bit expensive. climate is humid all year long . less choices for pure Vegetarians (unless you plan upfront to stay near to little india area) Overall must visit.

    A country that works.

A country that works. Runs efficiently amidst the gleaming skyscrapers. There is not a crack (so to speak) on the streets that you will trip on. There are no critters, no vermins, no rodents you will encounter in the subways. There are no situations in which you find yourself feeling unsafe. In other words, one gets to live a life according to one's full aspirations without having to worry about security, safety, and the INability to get to work. That is refreshing.

I have visited a few times over the years, I like it being organised in an Asian sort of way! It seems safe! People are friendly! This time I stayed around the hotel and relaxed. I loved the botanical gardens and bird park on my previous visits! I enjoy my stay when I come, and feel comfortable and relaxed! I would recommend it!

Little India, Bugis and China Town are definitely go to places for food and shopping. Loved them. The convenience of the MRT adds an extra bonus. Singapore Sentosa Island was a treat together with Universal studios and the Aquarium. The restaurants on Boat Quay and Clarke Quay are to die for. Wanna club? Clarke Quay is amazing.

The Naumi is an excellent hotel and suited my work trip perfectly. The location was perfect and the prices was significantly less than the large chain hotels nearby. However, the Naumi did not compromise on comfort or services. The room was nicely appointed and very clean. The nightly happy hour was a great perk. The pool area was small but since I was traveling for work it was not a priority. If I returned to Singapore for work - particularly events at the Convention Center I would definitely stay at the Naumi again.

This is my second time staying at the lyf Funan. The location is perfect and if you need anything you can literally step right into the mall and get it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also after (early) checkout we could go back in because of some unforeseen circumstances. The location is great in the lively Chinatown, but still was quiet at night. The communication was good and they helped us with our requests. Singapore is generally more on the expensive side, but I think this relatively cheap compared to similar hotels.

As with a lot of hotels in a Singapore, they recognise the importance of customer service and the hotel has excellent staff. The decor is plush, modern and user-friendly. The location was fine for where we needed to go, and the room itself was suitably quiet and a decent size. There were no issues, and we would stay there again, especially with the late checkout.
